A: Yes, although we often incorporate wrought
iron balustrade.

A: No, but we are happy to help you with a recommendation.

Do you use all species of timber for your wooden
stairs and balustrades?
A: Yes we do, providing we can can get the timber
in the sizes we require for manufacture.
Q:
Which species of timber do you most commonly used?
A: We use Radiata Pine from new zealand and Victorian
Ash or Tasmanian Oak, however we often use exotic
timeber such as Jarrah, Black Butt, Spotted Gum,
Brush Box, Blue Gum, Tallowood, Iron Bark and
also various recycled timbers.
Q:
Do you build MDF or custom wood staircases?
A: Generally we don't use these products but will
if specifically required.
Q:
Do you manufacture all types and designs of staircases?
A: Yes we do, including straight stairs, winder
stairs, landing stairs, flaired, curved or geometric
stairs.

Do you build spiral staircases?
A: No we don't, however it is often possible to
fit a winder stair into the same area.

Do you only install interior staircases?
A: Yes, but we can provide exterior stairs on
a supply only basis.

Can you provide timber stair treads for a steel
staircase?
A: Yes we can in any species of timber.
Q:
Do you manfacture attic ladders?
A: No, we don't. However we can recommmend a supplier.

What are the most common terms for staircase components?
A: Tread, riser, stringer, winder, landing, handrail,
newel post, baluster, bullnose tread, turnery,
scroll or volute, scotia, cut stringer, closed
stringer.

Do you have a showroom or display?
A: Yes, you are most welcome to visit us by appointment
for personal attention.
